We utilize several different forms of electrical muscle stimulation, also know as electrotherapy, in our office. It is often used in acute pain in patients to help reduce muscle spasms, inflammation and overall pain. It is helpful with relaxing the patient and, in general, making him or her more comfortable prior to chiropractic manipulation.
